ThinkCP™ Launches Complete SAN Starter Kit
for Small to Medium Size Business - Featuring QLogic & StorCase

Irvine, CA, March 29, 2006 – Today, ThinkCP™ Technologies announced the release of an affordable, entry-level Complete SAN Starter Kit for small to medium business. While SANs (Storage Area Networks) once ranged in price from 10’s to 100’s of thousands of dollars to implement and maintain, the ThinkCP™ SAN Starter is about $8,500, including the QLogic 2GB SAN Express Starter Kit 1000 and ThinkCP’s ViPoR SS-SANBX, featuring a custom configured StorCase Infostation (4U 2TB, Fibre to SATA II RAID storage system). ThinkCP™ Representatives provide further customization depending on each customer’s individual network applications, I.T. budgets and long-term objectives.

The central SAN system itself is designed with the understanding that small and medium sized-businesses require a flexible, scaleable platform from which they can easily migrate data or network operations during future growth phases. The customer can immediately implement the SAN solution within their existing LANs, without “retrofitting” their existing network fabric. The kit does require Microsoft® Windows® VDS (Virtual Disk Services) Drivers as part of the storage management framework (ThinkCP Representatives can assist customers with this requirement if necessary). Customers can later grow the SAN by adding additional storage devices, QLogic HBAs and QLogic switches depending on their company’s growth, expansion and “change” requirements.
