Open-E software enables system integrators to set up high performance, easy-to-use storage systems for companies of all sizes at an ideal price performance ratio. The significant advantages of these iSCSI and NAS systems are apparent in their flexibility when deployed in large system environments. Also during CeBIT, Open-E gave out 10,000 free bootable demo CDs which can be used for the immediate setup of an iSCSI storage system. Once volumes have been defined, users can test the software for 30 days at no cost to find out what the product has to offer. The “Open-E iSCSI Enterprise” trial software can be easily replaced at any time using a flash module containing pre-installed official software. There is no need to uninstall the trial software or to perform a new installation.
