Robust Storage Management

At the heart of Think ViPoR iSCSI XL, is the highly-integrated, high performance 10Gb/s iStor iSNP8008 iSCSI/TCP/IP offload SOC. The SOC has embedded processors running a fully featured, integrated storage-virtualization firmware stack. It also offers features such as Media Protection, Caching, Redundancy, End-to-End data protection, and RAID levels that meets the storage requirements and needs that other 10GbE Subsystems don’t offer.

Flexible Expansion
Think ViPoR iSCSI XL supports up to 15 high performance, high capacity SATA drives, which are not included and can be configured to take advantage of the 4 or 8 port GbE and/or 1 port of 10GbE iSCSI throughput. By utilizing Serial ATA disks, the Think ViPoR iSCSI XL enables compelling block-based network storage solutions such as near line storage, disk-to-disk backup, and DAS replacement along with high-capacity providing compelling total cost of ownership.
